Before that, there’s important historical information to share. Even though the official birthday of Kaunas is in May, some sources say it’s actually on February 14… So why not start the Love Day with a romantic walk by the sanctuary of Neris and Nemunas rivers, where, the legend says, Kaunas was born?..
A handful of hotels in Kaunas have special offers for mid-February. As we can’t travel to the seaside or other resorts, a short ‘staycation’ with a romantic twist seems like a kaunastic idea. Here goes.
