airBaltic to Offer 82 Routes in Summer 2021

The Latvian airline airBaltic this week has announced the new network of the summer 2021 with the first 15 seasonal destinations from Riga that in 2020 were postponed due to COVID-19 outbreak.

In total airBaltic will offer 82 routes for next summer season, which is +21% more, compared to this year. In addition, for summer season 2021 airBaltic will also increase the frequency on several popular destinations, including Barcelona, Paris, Rome, Dublin and many others.

Martin Gauss, CEO of airBaltic: "So far 2020 has been full of challenges, but with our passenger and employee health and safety remaining the top priority, we continue to focus on expansion of our operation. Already a year ahead, we have announced the plans for our new network and in combination with our new ticket types, our passengers can book the tickets to more than 80 routes with confidence."

Currently airBaltic performs direct flights from Riga to various European business hubs and to such popular leisure destinations as Dubrovnik, Rijeka and Split in Croatia, Barcelona in Spain, Nice in France, Larnaca in Cyprus as well as Rome, Catania and Milan in Italy. In addition, during upcoming weeks airBaltic will launch direct flights from Riga to Billund (Denmark), Reykjavik (Iceland), Madrid (Spain), Zurich (Switzerland), Turku (Finland), Warsaw (Poland), Prague (Czech Republic), Stuttgart (Germany), Budapest (Hungary) and Liepaja (Latvia). airBaltic also offers various direct services from Tallinn and Vilnius. By the end of August 2020, airBaltic plans to connect Baltics on 69 routes.
