Latvian national airline airBaltic has cancelled the EUR 5 check-in fee previously paid by some passengers.
Tero Taskila, Chief Commercial Officer: “Making travel affordable for our customers and lowering prices is airBaltic’s priority.”
Previously members of the BalticMiles loyalty programme and passengers checking-in for their flight online via www.airbaltic.com were exempted from the check-in fee.
“If all airBaltic passengers checked-in online they cumulatively would save some 60 million minutes every year and could use this time to do things that have higher value in their lives,” continues Tero Taskila.
airBaltic serves 80 destinations from its home base at Riga, Latvia. From every one of these, airBaltic offers convenient connections via North Hub Riga to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East.
