Tervete Nature Park more colorful and fun as ever during winter season

The Tērvete Nature Park has become brighter and more colorful during the winter season, inviting visitors to take a stroll through the park at nighttime.

The park’s Fairytale Train also lights up during the winter season, as it beamingly takes young and old on exciting rides through the park’s trails.

''Mammadaba'' and joint-stock ''Latvian State Forests'' gift people this winter season the opportunity to visit Tērvete Nature Park after its regular working hours for free. At the same time, persons should not worry about getting to the park before it gets dark, as several of the park’s paths will be lit until 8:00 p.m.

Even though there has not been much snow cover this winter so far, it is possible to feel and experience a proper winter atmosphere at the park. The park’s Fairytale Train, decorated in lights, gives visitors the opportunity to experience a festive winter atmosphere, as it weaves through the park’s many trails. The Fairytale Train makes rides through the park every day from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Tērvete Nature Park is a fabulous and friendly place, where unique nature and heritage live side by side. Tērvete Nature Park is an excellent place for families with children or for friends to spend a fun day outdoors. The park is also a fun place for all of those who can look at the world through a child’s eyes, rejoicing at the interplay of nature and fairytales.

The park’s most well-known attractions, which take at least three hours to walk through, are the Fairytale Forest, the Playground and the Dwarfs’ Forest.  Furthermore, nature enthusiasts can admire the unique pine forest whose majestic trees are almost 300 years old. Flowing through the park is the Tērvete River, with the many wooden foot bridges helping visitors cross the river at various points. Tērvete Nature Park is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life, where persons can come to relax and have a fun day outdoors amongst stunning scenery.
