airBaltic first in Europe to introduce Apple iPads

Latvian national airline airBaltic is the first airline in Europe to introduce iPads for inflight entertainment. iPads will become available to airBaltic passengers in the coming season.

For our focus on innovations and achievements in creating new trends, airBaltic last week won a special Pacesetter Award 2010 from the Jury of the Budgies World Low Cost Airline Awards. airBaltic is the first airline in Europe and the second airline in the world to introduce Apple iPad for its customers.”

Apple iPads will be used for inflight entertainment and offer new experience for airBaltic customers while enjoying movies, cartoons, music, games, or daily news from electronic newspapers.
