International Travel Trade Fair “Balttour 2016” will traditionally open
the new tourist season early next year – from 5–7 February. Every
traveller and holidaymaker is invited to enjoy wonderful atmosphere and
get acquainted with an abundance of travel and recreation offers in
Latvia and 40 other countries around the world.
"Balttour 2016" will suit every taste and budget, as 850 participants
from 40 countries in Europe, Central Asia and Middle East will offer
their best and latest deals. The trade fair features more than 470
booths taking up both halls of the exhibition centre.
Specially designed tours
"Balttour" will provide travellers with the latest information on a
variety of destinations and the current situation in the respective
countries, as well as it will offer very attractive tour prices.
Travellers will have an opportunity to get detailed answers to topical
questions about tour organisation. Travel agencies are already working
diligently to please visitors with better opportunities and lower
prices. "In collaboration with direct suppliers, we are working on
different travel deals: flights to remote destinations, holiday tours to
the Southern Europe and exotic countries, cruises and many other
options to suit every taste and budget," told Anta Jokste, the General
Manager of Estravel Latvia.
Magnificent world
Portugal, Switzerland, Malaysia, Spain, Italy, Thailand, Hungary...
Everyone, tempted to see the vast expanses of the world, will have a
possibility to acquaint themselves with varied offers and destinations.
The hall "Discover the World!" will present new destinations, enticing
leisure opportunities, different cultures and cuisines. National stands
will offer in-depth information on a particular country and an
opportunity to talk to "the most reliable source of information" –
locals, who can tell tourists about yet undiscovered vacation spots.
Unique Latvia
The hall "Discover Latvia!" will present newly developed routes, tell
about novelties in seemingly familiar places and offer to enjoy the
hospitality of Latvia and its people. Regions are already preparing a
new tourist guides, booklets and brochures, so there will be many
opportunities to draw inspiration and ideas from. Hotels, guest houses
and spa centres are working on special offers for recreational and
health tourism. Moreover, visitors will have an opportunity to see and
purchase handicrafts and tasty foods from Latvian countryside, and enjoy
cultural programme by local talents and foreign guests on the Balttour
2016 Stage.
