A common water tourism route “Great Amber Circle” is going to link Belarus, Lithuania and Russia. The route is going to begin (or end), depending on the chosen direction in Kaliningrad, forward it will go through the Russian towns Polesska and Sovetska, the Lithuanian cities – Kaunas and Druskininkai, Belarusian towns – Grodno, Slonim, Pinsk and Brest.
In addition, the "Great Amber Circle" route will consist of short water route stages. It will be possible to move with small river ships and rent boats.
It should be noted that the project implementation period is not clear yet, because all involved parties only now have stated their willingness to cooperate in development of such project.
