As of July 19, 2021, ten-day self-isolation will not apply only to travelers in Estonia who will come from European Union countries where the incidence of Covid-19 in the last 14 days does not exceed 75 per 100,000 inhabitants.
This decision has been taken by the Estonian government on the basis of EU recommendations. Until now, travelers from countries where the incidence did not exceed 150 per 100,000 people have been able to do without self-isolation in Estonia.

Travelers from countries with a morbidity rate of 75-200 cases per 100,000 population will be required to present a negative Covid-19 test or vaccination certificate. In the absence of such documents, an on-site test must be carried out and the result awaited at the place of residence.
If a person arrives in Estonia, where the number of Covid-19 cases exceeds 200 per 100,000 people, they must go for 10 days of self-isolation. However, this time limit can be reduced by passing the Covid-19 test twice, and both times it is negative. However, people who have been infected with Covid-19 in the last 180 days or who have received a full vaccination have been released from self-isolation.
