Air Lituanica joins forces with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Air France

Airline Air Lituanica has signed a interline agreement with two leading global airlines Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Getting to European, North and South American and African destinations via Amsterdam and Paris will be even easier.

Simonas Bartkus, Air Lituanica Chief Commerce Office, said: “From now on, passengers will be able to buy a single ticket, for example, for a journey from Vilnius to Miami via Paris or Amsterdam at convenient time and for reasonable price. Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will operate connecting flights on our direct routes to Paris and Amsterdam. For us it is extremely important that we will be able to use particularly wide ticket distribution channels of the two carriers and to offer their exceptional service to our passengers.

Passengers will be able to buy a single ticket for their flight with connecting flights from Amsterdam Schiphol or Paris Charles de Gaulle Airports. Passengers will be issued Air France or KLM Royal Dutch Airlines ticket. Tickets will be available for purchase in almost all electronic ticket search engines and travel agencies.

Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines together hold one of the strongest positions in the airline industry. They cover key market of long-distance flights from Europe. In 2013, they carried 77.3 million passengers and 1.3 million tons of cargo.

Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines operate 552 aircraft. They offer 231 routes to 103 countries from Charles de Gaulle and Schiphol Airports. Amsterdam Schiphol and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airports are one of the largest in Europe and highly appreciated by people travelling on distant journeys.
