In springtime, as Tallinn turns verdant and blossoms with the first warm rays of sun, restaurants and cafes open their summer yards and terraces that will close again in the autumn. There are unique places for dining al fresco in the centre as well as elsewhere in the city.
The cafe Chocolats de Pierre in the Masters' Courtyard in Old Town with its lovely cosy courtyard and the romantic summer terrace of Hotel Telegraaf. The lush garden of the restaurant Leib Resto & Aed hidden between the walls of Old Town looks like it has been imported from Tuscany. The lounge cafe Must Puudel is cosy and the prices are reasonable. Enjoy the romantic atmosphere and live music there along with the food. The shaded inner yard is a great place with an easy-going vibe.
