"Minka" cat cafe – one of a kind cafe in Riga

It has been proven that the presence of domestic animals can increase our well-being. Owners of pets have shown lower stress levels, which means a larger ability to reach full relaxation.

Soon the very first cat cafe „Minka” will open in Latvian capital, Riga (‘minka’ in Latvian means ‘kitty’). Five cats will be offering their ‘services’ in this cafe – their main task will be bringing joy and comfort to the guests. Both children and adults will be able to play with the cats or simply watch them in action!

Besides their furry services, „Minka” cafe will offer light snacks and delicious drinks.

Similar cafes already exist in Lithuania, Austria, Spain and other countries. We don’t know when when the „Minka” cafe will open in Riga just yet, so please follow the latest updates on their facebook page.
