At 10 p.m. through 2 a.m. on Friday 7 June, Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre will organise its fifth Art Night in the historical Daugavpils Fortress.
Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre, in cooperation with other creative institutions, interest groups and individual artists or art enthusiasts, for the fifth time organises an interactive, dynamic and stimulating night-time art event during Daugavpils City Festival.

Visitors of the Art Night will be able to enjoy a rich programme of bright, creative and entertaining art events in Daugavpils Fortress.
Programme:
10 p.m. – 2 a.m. – Rothko Centre’s 6th anniversary season (Rothko Centre). The current trends in regional, Latvian and international art in seven exhibitions at the Rothko Centre.
10 p.m. – 11 a.m. and 1 a.m. – 2 a.m. – Light and music show with DJ Mr. MYSTER (Courtyard of the Rothko Centre)
10 p.m. onwards – Live broadcast from Radio NABA (Residence of the Rothko Centre). Fine music and conversations about art live and in telephone interviews.
10 p.m. – 00 a.m. – Artist’s night-time workshop (1 Komendanta Street). Silk-screening workshop of artists Ingūna Levša and Māris Popovs
10 p.m. – 00 a.m. – Art Wonders from ZINOO Curiosity Centre (Courtyard of 2 Komendanta Street, the white tent)
10 p.m. – 00 a.m. – Contemporary ceramics exhibition ON AIR (8 Hospitāļa Street). Exhibition created expressly for the Art Night at the Latvian Centre of Contemporary Ceramics.
10 p.m. – 00 a.m. – Staņislavs Broks Daugavpils Music Secondary School (Rothko Centre, conference sector)
10 p.m. – 00 a.m. – Daugavpils Local History and Art Museum (Rothko Centre, residencies)
11 p.m. – 11.30 a.m. – Performance by artist Ieva Nagliņa (Near prospective Martinson’s House)
11 p.m. – 11.30 p.m. – Fashion Show from Daugavpils Art Secondary School “Saules” (Catwalk near the central entrance into the Rothko Centre)
00 a.m. – 1 a.m. – Concert by Evija Vēbere (Courtyard of the Rothko Centre, stage in front of the central entrance)
10 p.m. – 2 a.m. – Art Hub Restaurant lounge (Courtyard of the Rothko Centre)
During the Art Night, from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre will be available at special DISCOUNT PRICES.
