Sign Up for a Free Guided Tour During the Ventspils City Festival!

This year, the Ventspils Tourism Information Center is offering a unique opportunity for residents and city guests to explore the city on a free guided tour! The tour will take place on Friday, August 2nd, at 4:30 PM. During an exciting two-hour walk, participants will discover the charm of the old town, the scenic Ostas Street promenade, and the vibrantly blooming city center.

During the tour, you will learn many interesting facts about Ventspils, including why the environmental object "Lats" is located on the castle hill and the former location of the “Siena tirgus” (Hay Market.) Additionally, the guides will explain the symbolism behind the visual image of the fountain "Fregate “Walfish”."

The tours will be available in three languages – Latvian, English, and Russian – ensuring that everyone interested can participate. Please register for the tour by July 30th by filling out the form at this link.

This is a great opportunity for both Ventspils residents and visitors to get to know Ventspils and its historical heritage. We invite you to join us and enjoy the Ventspils City Festival! You can view the festival program here.
