airBaltic Increases Frequencies on Eight Routes from Riga

The Latvian airline airBaltic has announced that, in response to growing passenger demand, it will increase the frequency of flights on eight existing routes from Riga for the upcoming summer season – Billund, Bucharest, Copenhagen, Larnaca, Oslo, Porto, Stockholm and Tampere. The enhanced schedule will provide greater flexibility and convenience for passengers traveling to and from Riga, offering more options and better connectivity to various destinations.

Thomas Ramdahl, Senior Vice President Network Management at airBaltic: “In addition to recent announcement of 16 new routes for the summer season 2025, we are also increasing the frequency of flights on eight existing routes from Riga. Our commitment is to provide our customers with more travel options for leisure, business, and onward connectivity needs. Additional flights on these routes are in direct response to the rising demand we’ve observed, and we’re excited to offer even more convenient ways for our passengers to reach their chosen destinations.”

“Furthermore, our growth continues in Estonia and Lithuania as well, as we continue to launch new destinations and increase flight frequencies on various existing routes from Tallinn and Vilnius. With that we show our position as the leading and most favored airline in the Baltic States,” Ramdahl added.

airBaltic has announced plans to launch 16 new routes from the Baltic States – four from Riga, five from Tallinn, and seven from Vilnius. The new routes include destinations such as Mykonos, Cluj-Napoca, Stavanger, Ibiza, Rzeszów, and others.

airBaltic operates more than 130 routes from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Tampere, and, seasonally, Gran Canaria, offering connections to a wide range of destinations in the airline's route network in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus region. A complete schedule of airBaltic flights and tickets are available on the company's homepage at www.airbaltic.com.
