«Atlantic Travel» Director Jūlija Rimļina: "Trust in tourism is always based on stability!"

Atlantic Travel Director Julia Rimlina has become the winner of the "Tourism Person of the Year 2024" award in the category "Entrepreneur / Manager in the Tourism Agency and Tour Operator Business," and after the award ceremony, she shared her feelings with Travelnews.lv.

"A big thank you to all the award organizers, the Balttour exhibition, and the Travelnews.lv portal for recognizing not only my work but also the efforts of the entire Atlantic Travel team.

I have been in the tourism business since 1998, witnessing many ups and downs, shocking stories, and incredible luck in this field. I love tourism, the people who work in it, and the opportunities it provides. We have a great team, and every person at Atlantic Travel is a creator who drives our shared cause forward.

Despite the challenges the world presents us—pandemics, unstable political situations—our clients plan, dream, and, with our help, make their travel dreams come true. We are happy to grow and create new and exciting opportunities for clients, both in terms of new destinations and in implementing modern technologies that expand our horizons.

Atlantic Travel has grown from a small company that I had founded in 2002. Initially, it was a visa center, then tourism, airline ticket sales, and corporate services were added. As a result, we became a full-service travel agency with all the necessary tools and certifications.

Last year, the ALIDA TOURS team—one of the oldest tour operators in Latvia—joined us. Together, we have become stronger, and now we are three sales offices in the center of Riga, our own travel programs, online booking of offers from all leading Baltic tour operators, a department for working with corporate business clients, luxury travel, and inbound tourism to Latvia.

We are happy to grow and create new and exciting opportunities for our clients, both in terms of new destinations and in implementing modern technologies that expand our horizons.
