Lauku ceļotājs will present new products for active and nature tourism enthusiasts

This year „Lauku ceļotājs” is present at the „Balttour” with a new stand and new products for active and nature tourism enthusiasts. These are cycling, hiking, driving and boating routes in the National parks of Slītere (9 routes) and Ķemeri (6 routes). One of the most attractive routes at Ķemeri offers an insight into the past of the once famous health resort. The highlight in Slītere is animal watching tours with experienced nature guides.

The stand visitors will have an opportunity to take part in our visitor surveys on the Slītere national park and on rural tourism quality. The respondents will receive a calendar of events in the Slītere National park in 2010 with the most important dates marked, like the „Travellers’ day” where the new tourism products will be presented. Respondents will also take part in a lottery to win a week’s stay in the countryside in Europe (the prize draw will take place on May 31, 2010).
The stand visitors will also receive our latest publications: the tour map „Great views in Latvia”, the boating guide and the catalogue of countryside tourist accommodations.
