On 13 December airBaltic launched a new direct route linking Riga and Poprad, Slovakia. The once weekly service, offers convenient connections between the two cities and beyond to destinations in the Baltic region, Scandinavia, Russia and the CIS countries.

The service will operate one-weekly return flight on Saturdays. airBaltic passengers will board a Boeing 737-300aircraft for a flight that will last 1 hour 40 minutes.
