airBaltic offers connections to New York

The Latvian carrier airBaltic has extended its code share partnership with Uzbekistan Airways, to offer convenient connections between New York JFK and airports in the Baltic Sea region.

Christophe Viatte, Chief Commercial Officer of airBaltic: “This summer, airBaltic has significantly improved its service and timetable from airports around the Baltic Sea, adding new routes and expanding existing partnerships. We are especially pleased about expanding our code share agreement with Uzbekistan Airways, and thus being able to offer the much anticipated route to the global centre of fashion, finance, culture and art – New York City, to our customers from the Baltic region and beyond.”

airBaltic customers travelling between New York and Riga will board an Uzbekistan Airways Boeing 767 aircraft operated twice weekly, while the rest of the journey between Riga and any of the Baltic Sea airports will be served by airBaltic. A full schedule of airBaltic flights can be found on the company’s homepage www.airBaltic.com.

airBaltic serves over 60 destinations from its home base in Riga, Latvia. From every one of these locations, airBaltic offers convenient connections via Riga to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East. In addition, airBaltic also offers new direct flights from Tallinn, Vilnius, and soon also from the Baltic seaside resort of Heringsdorf.
