Baltic and Latvian autodromo championship’s stage will take place in Biķernieki track, Rīga

August 23, 2009 Baltic and Latvian autodromo championship’s stage "Papa` s Racing Weekend" will take place in Biķernieki track, Rīga. It is expected to be the most fascinating road event this season. The famous old master and European Cup participant Mr. Jānis Horeliks will fight against the leaders of this moment at the Super Production class. National class is going to have a lot of participants, thus the dramatic fights and shows are expected all day-long.

There will be the prestigious Super Production class, large-scale National class, as well as the Super 1600 and the Baltic Open categories held in Rīga. Estonian championship classes Junior and BMW 325 will make an additional intrigue. Also legendary Formula Estonia will take place there. In between races Latvian drift leader Gvido Elksnis will demonstrate the fastest drive into a sideslip in elbow turning – a breathtaking view! Visitors will also have an opportunity to see ancient automobiles and their demonstration drive in Biķernieki.

National class is going to have almost twenty participants, which means that this class will have quite full start-up area.
