airBaltic flight tickets go on sale in Finnish kiosks

Latvian national airline airBaltic has put flight tickets on sale at R-Kioski newsstands throughout Finland. Flight tickets will be on sale throughout June this year for all airBaltic flights from any Finnish city to /from Riga or Tallinn.

airBaltic Chief Commercial Officer Tero Taskila: “airBaltic was the first airline in Northern Europe to bring flight tickets to shop shelves next to bread and milk back in 2007. airBaltic is now the first airline to introduce flight tickets in newsstands in Finland. Nowadays, flying has become part and parcel of daily life; so much that customers in Finland can now buy flight tickets along with their morning newspapers and a cup of coffee at a total of 700 kiosks across Finland.”

airBaltic flight tickets are on sale at all 700 R-Kioski newsstands in Finland during June this year. The price of a ticket in both directions is EUR 89 including airport fees and transaction costs.

In Finland, airBaltic offers flights on 21 routes from nine Finnish cities – Helsinki, Lappeenranta, Tampere, Turku, Oulu, Kuopio, Vaasa, Kuusamo and Rovaniemi.

airBaltic has been selected for anna.aero ANNIES award as the Europe's largest flag carrier by new routes, operating this summer 27 routes more than in 2009. airBaltic serves 80 destinations from its home base at Riga, Latvia. From every one of these, airBaltic offers convenient connections via North Hub Riga to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East.
