The Latvian airline airBaltic is ready to use larger airplanes on its Finnish routes to fly the strike-affected Finnish passengers via North Hub Riga to/from destinations in the Baltics, Europe, Middle East and the CIS countries.
Tero Taskila, Chief Commercial Officer of airBaltic: “In 2009, airBaltic made record profit by offering a reliable service at lower prices. Every month, our passenger numbers almost triple on the Finnish routes. We will deploy larger aircraft on our Finnish routes, so that the strike-affected passengers can reach any of airBaltic’s 80 destinations.”
In Finland, airBaltic offers flights to/from 10 airports - Helsinki, Oulu, Lappeenranta, Turku, Tampere, Vaasa, Kuusamo, Kuopio, Rovaniemi and Kittila/Levi.
