airBaltic Recognized as Top Employer in Latvia

Latvian national airline airBaltic has been selected as the Top Employer in a nationwide survey by career and recruitment consultancy Workinday Latvia.

The previous surveys consistently ranked airBaltic among Top 3 Employers (Top 2 Employer in 2009, Top 3 Employer in 2008 and 2007).

airBaltic currently employs 1443 professionals. The staff of the airline represents almost 30 nations.

airBaltic has previously received the title of Airline of the Year 2009/2010 (Gold Award) from the European Regions Airline Association. airBaltic is also the winner of Air Transport World Phoenix Award 2010 – a global recognition of excellence in restructuring business, an award that has the same meaning for airlines as the Oscar award for filmmakers. airBaltic has also won the Pacesetter Award from the Jury of the Budgies World Low Cost Airline Awards, recognizing achievements of airBaltic as a trendsetting hybrid airline.
