The jury of the Webbies Awards consists of a panel of independent expert judges from the industry and key figures in digital development at Reed Business Information.

"airBaltic created one of the most engaging Christmas marketing campaign last year – one which had I personally shared with my twitter followers too. It was the perfect Xmas campaign not just because it featured a very cute Santa, but also didn't try to over-sell. A very entertaining and timely campaign, though I'm curious how airBaltic surprises us next time round," reads the statement of the Jury.

The Webbies Awards acknowledge the best and brightest in aviation websites and their social media activities. In its third year the Webbies Awards featured three entirely new categories (Online Campaign, Launch, and Digital Technology) in order to recognize areas that have seen the most intense innovation and progress in the last 12 months.

airBaltic has previously received the title of Airline of the Year 2009/2010 (Gold Award) from the European Regions Airline Association. airBaltic is also the winner of Air Transport World Phoenix Award 2010 – a global recognition of excellence in restructuring business, an award that has the same meaning for airlines as the Oscar award for filmmakers. In summer 2010, airBaltic was chosen for anna.aero ANNIES Award as Europe's largest flag carrier by new routes. airBaltic won a special Pacesetter Award 2010 from the Jury of the Budgies World Low Cost Airline Awards, recognising achievements of airBaltic as a hybrid airline.
