airBaltic in January carried 187236 passengers, load factor grows

Latvian airline airBaltic carried 187,236 passengers in January 2011 (from Riga, Vilnius and Tallinn), representing 6% decrease comparing with the same month in 2010, when airBaltic transported 199,085 passengers.

In January, airBaltic operated 4,138 flights, or 3% more than in January 2010 when airBaltic operated 4,011 flights.

The airline’s load factor, which represents the number of passengers as a proportion of the number of available seats, in January 2011 was at a level of 58% - or 1% point more than in January 2010.

The 15-minute flight punctuality indicator for airBaltic was at a level of 83.2% in January 2011. This means that more than 83 of every 100 airBaltic flights in January departed at the planned time or with a delay of no more than 15 minutes.
