The Lithuanian airline Air Lituanica expands its operations and is going to offer even more direct and connecting flights from Tallinn Airport (Estonian: AS Tallinna Lennujaam). The number of direct flights from Tallinn to Vilnius increases from 10 to 12 times a week, while the range of connecting flights expands by three cities in Scandinavia. The airline operates daily flights from Tallinn to Vilnius and offers connecting flights to other European cities through Vilnius Airport.
Starting from 12 March Air Lituanica launched flights from Tallinn at a convenient morning and evening time on business days; hence, Vilnius can now be accessed from Tallinn in 1 hour 5 min. To create an even more convenient flight schedule, from 15 June the number of flights is expanded to 12 times a week with new flights on Saturdays and Sundays.

It is also convenient to travel with Air Lituanica from Tallinn to Paris, Berlin, Munich or Prague. The minimum transfer time at Vilnius Airport is only 30 min. In case the transfer time is slightly longer, Vilnius Airport offers a convenient waiting time – Business Lounge, cafés, shops, children’s playground, etc.
During the summer season Air Lituanica will fly to Munich on a daily basis; flights to Paris will be operated 6 times a week. Flights on the Prague route are operated on business days, while flights to Berlin are available on a daily basis, with the exception of Saturdays.
Especially good connections between Estonia and Scandinavia will also be created: Air Lituanica offers summer season flights from Vilnius to two Swedish cities – Gothenburg and Malmö and the Danish town Billund. There are no direct flights from Tallinn Airport to these cities; therefore, to strengthen the Estonian and Scandinavian business and tourism relations, an opportunity to reach these cities through Vilnius will be an excellent choice.
“Our strategic goal is to create full quality flights to business and tourism passengers on the main European routes; therefore, the frequency of flights is especially important. Daily flights to major airports are an excellent opportunity for businessmen and public officials to plan their time more effectively and to save the costs of business trips and for tourists to plan their holidays more freely," says Air Lituanica Director of Commerce SimonasBartkus.
SimonasBartkus adds that by increasing the number of flights, Air Lituanica aims to create convenient flights to both Lithuania and Estonia, thus filling the gaps in these air traffic markets.
The flights are operated by two aircrafts – Embraer 175 with 86 seats and CRJ 200 with 50 seats. The aircrafts of Air Lituanica are fast, convenient and cost-efficient jet airliners. The airline offers a choice of business and economy class services on its flights. Tickets are available on Air Lituanica website www.airlituanica.com or through other flight search engines and travel agencies.
