The airline Air Lituanica adds Billund to its schedule of regular flights. The flights to the town of Denmark launched during the summer season will remain on the schedule twice a week.
“Our insights that the destination of Billund would fill the
gap of communication with West Denmark proved to be right," says Air
Lituanica Chief Commercial Officer Simonas Bartkus. "Until
now only flights to Copenhagen have been operated from Vilnius Airport
to Denmark. We therefore predicted that Air Lituanica would carry 4
thousand passengers on the new route during the summer season.”
Forecasts proved to be accurate: 1 800 passengers have already been
carried over the first month, with aircraft loading amounting to 76%.
