The Opening Ceremony of the Photo Exhibition

On 15 May 2012, at 11:30 am, the Photo Exhibition dedicated to the reconstruction after the Great East Japan Earthquake will be opened at Lithuanian University of Educational Science second building (T. Ševčenkos g. 31, Vilnius). The Exhibition is organized by the Embassy of Japan and Lithuanian University of Educational Science. At the opening ceremony Ambassador of Japan in Lithuania Kazuko Shiraishi and Rector of Lithuanian University of Educational Science Algirdas Gaižutis will be present.

The Exhibition features photos depicting the damage caused by the earthquake and tsunami as well as the current situations of Japan’s devastated areas, which experienced a quick recovery thanks to the generous support from Lithuania and the rest of the world. The Exhibition will be held through May 28.
