Jaunmokas Palace invites you to a Christmas weekend

As the brightest and most beautiful holiday of the year approaches, Jaunmokas Palace has planned a special weekend full of festive feelings and tastes.

On the 10th and 11th of December, you can listen to the magical sound of the Liepaja Bell Ensemble, play an exciting game with the elves, and enjoy the festive market atmosphere.

The "Ringing the Bells" concert by the Liepaja Bells Ensemble "Campanella" will ring out the Castle Hall on Saturday, 10 December, at 14.00. Popular Christmas carols and classical music will be performed at the concert.

Visitors will be invited to the opening of the exhibition "Sounding the Bells!" following the concert at 15.15. The show will include 96 bells from Ludmila Merkulova's 7000-bell private collection.

The Christmas Market will be open from 12 p.m. to 16 p.m. on December 11th. Festive flavours, gifts, things, and sensations will be available from Latvian home producers and craftsmen in the Palace Park and Column Hall. Gift wrapping and candle decoupage workshops will be open, surrounded by the scent of fir trees.

Entry is free, but workshops are not.

Young and old alike are invited to participate in the exciting activity game "Elves' Quest in the Forest Wonderland" at 14.00.

In the spirit of the season, the Gnomes will greet visitors by warming themselves by the campfire and drinking hot tea. A quest or a fun task game will be launched.

The quest will be an opportunity to find, feel, taste, smell, love, surprise, and transform through the Forest Wonderland.

A festive and playful conclusion with Santa Claus and a surprise in the Elf's Box in the Column Hall. The Elves will have planned a sung greeting as well as games.

Please remember that the first part of the game will take place outside. The Jaunmokas Palace team requests that you dress appropriately for the weather.

Tickets for the concert and the Dwarf Quest are available at the Ticket Paradise box office and at www.jaunmokupils.lv. Offer valid for 3+ Family Card holders.

During the event, photographs and films will be taken and may be published.
