Light installation "Glittering Symphony for Trees" lights up Bauska

Bauska will host an environmental decoration "Glittering Symphony for Trees" from December 19 to January 1. Every day from 16:00 to 23:00, the light installation in the Karpa (Korfa) Garden will delight Bauska residents and visitors. On New Year's Eve, from December 31 to January 1, the picturesque interplay of light and music will sparkle until 10:00 p.m. 03:00.

Symphony is a cyclical work with a deliberate increase in dynamics. This is the scene that Bauskenes and others will be able to experience in the Carp Gardens over a two-week period, using light as the primary means of expression. Until the festival, the park will be filled with a peaceful atmosphere, instrumental music, and a color palette of blues, greens, and brights. However, as the real day’s approach, the symphony will become more vibrant, and the color palette of the lights will be expanded Because the Karpa Garden is surrounded by tree tops, the symphony of shining beams of light and musical design is dedicated to these trees, which will hold the circular swing of light, bringing joy to the people of Bauska. Every visitor to the park can become a part of the symphony by getting on the swings and taking their feet off the snowy ground for a few moments. Full Stage Ltd. installed this type of swing structure for the first time in Latvia last year in Bauska. We are delighted that the swing will be installed.

A special musical setting that includes well-known melodies , as well as compositions recorded by Bauska School of Music and Art students, will enhance this year’s „Glittering Symphony for Trees”.

The tour of the environmental design is free of charge.
