Ryanair celebrates 1-year base anniversary in Riga

Ryanair, Europe’s No.1 airline, today (28th October) is delighted to announce its celebration of the 1-year anniversary of base activities at Riga airport. To celebrate our continued commitment to Latvia, we are pleased to announce our new Winter Schedule, with 27 total routes to destinations such as Barcelona, Paphos and Milan, along with one new Winter route to Newcastle.

Ryanair’s Riga Airport Winter 2022 schedule will deliver:
• 2 based aircraft – $200m investment
• 27 total routes
• Over 180 weekly flights
• 60 direct jobs

This Winter schedule marks the 1-year anniversary of Ryanair’s base activity in Riga with 2 based aircraft and a $200m investment, which not only reinforce our commitment to Latvia, but also supports the recovery of the local economy and tourism.

With 27 total routes and over 180 weekly flights, Ryanair will provide the citizens of Riga with a wide selection of destinations for their next Winter getaway, while also allowing visitors from all over Europe to visit the capital of Latvia, at the lowest fares possible.

To celebrate our 1-year anniversary, Ryanair is launching a special seat sale with fares from just €24.99 one way, for travel from Oct’22 until Mar’23, which must be booked by 30th of October. Seats will be snapped up quickly, so customers should log onto www.ryanair.com to take part of the offer.
