«airBaltic» Adds New Routes for Winter 2024/2025 from Riga

The Latvian national airline airBaltic has announced additions to its flight schedule for the upcoming winter season, including three new routes from its main hub in Riga (Latvia) to Innsbruck (Austria), Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt).

Flights to Innsbruck are a new addition to airBaltic’s network from Riga and will be operated once a week on Sundays, starting on December 22. Innsbruck is uniquely positioned near renowned skiing resorts like St. Anton, Ischgl, and the Stubai Glacier, serves as a premier gateway for winter sports enthusiasts. This will be airBaltic's third destination in Austria, in addition to Vienna and Salzburg.

Flights to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh the airline will now operate as scheduled flights to both destinations twice a week. Customers will have the option to purchase tickets for these flights directly from the airline and choose to fly in either Business or Economy Class. Furthermore, TezTour and airBaltic will continue their cooperation on flights to both Egyptian cities, offering travelers opportunities to explore Egypt's stunning beaches, rich historical heritage, world-class diving spots and vibrant local markets.

We have identified an opportunity to expand our winter season network by adding already a third route to Austria, conveniently located near top ski resorts, thus providing easy access for lovers of winter sports and activities. Additionally, we will start operating scheduled flights to leisure destinations in Egypt, offering customers the chance to escape the colder winter months and enjoy warm weather."
