airBaltic Carries Olympic Torches to the Baltic Capitals

19 July, Latvian national airline airBaltic carried Olympic Torches and Torchbearers from London to the Baltic capitals of Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius.

The Torchbearers from the Baltic countries returning home on airBaltic include Martiņš Rītiņš, Ieva Liepiņa, Linda Kļaviņa (Latvia), Renna Jarvalt, Kala Jaanus (Estonia), Modestas Paulauskas, Kazimieras Budrys, Birute Statkeviciene, Antanas Zabulis (Lithuania).

Overall 8000 inspirational people will carry the Olympic Flame as it journeys 8000 miles across the UK. Nominated by someone they know, it will be their moment to shine, inspiring millions of people watching in their community, in the UK and worldwide.

Martins Ritins is a renowned chef of Latvia who has created predominantly organic menus for airBaltic customers, based on produce from local farmers.
