European Museum Night is an international museum events which has been held in many European countries since 2005.
In addition to regular exhibitions, many museums also organize special events - creative workshops, concerts, theatrical performances etc. The event is usually held on Saturday from 7:00 p.m. until the early hours of Sunday morning. Entrance is for free.

The theme of this year's Night of Museums in Latvia is The Bugler of Tālava. On May 18, the Night of the Museum will honor all of the heroes of the past from every region, where it will be possible to hear their stories.
In 2014, the theme of the Night of Museums was amber as a symbol of Latvian culture - amber, the color of red!
