Things you can only do in Estonia

What can you do in Estonia that you cannot do anywhere else? Here are a few ideas to get you started.

Rehearsal diving at Lake Rummu

The quarry lake of Rummu has crystal-clear water and an exciting lake bottom, which have made it a long-time favourite of divers. At the bottom of the lake, you find an underwater museum of sorts, offering an unforgettable experience. There are several buildings and garages at the lake bottom; these used to belong to the prison or were located on the territory of the quarry. There are also various machines and mining equipment. We organize rehearsal diving from the landing of the Holiday Centre, as well as a large raft. Rehearsal diving is done in full diving gear with an experienced instructor; you dive in and see various sights and the underwater world.

Off-road safari around Aidu quarry

Looking for adrenaline? Come to Ida-Viru County! We will take you on a safari ride around the Aidu oil shale quarry that has been filled with water. We will visit a number of interesting places: Ant Hill, a rowing channel, old sedimentary basins, water-filled trenches, a stone grove, the best view of the quarry, the river, and more. The guide will tell interesting stories about oil shale and the environment. A day full of exciting landscapes and an unforgettable off-road experience! You can also ask to drive the car yourself. In the summer, we welcome groups of 2–15 people and in winter, groups of 2–10.

Estonian Mining Museum

Would you like to get a taste of what the life of a real coal miner was like? All you need to do is put on your wellies, grab a warm jacket and take a lamp; because, where else but underground would you hear, see and feel the same things as the men who toiled away underground every day? The mining museum Enrichment Factory is also now open. An educational experience, it demonstrates the journey of oil shale, shows how energy is created and showcases information on the subject of future trends in the energy sector. Please note! Ticket sales for the underground museum end two hours before the museum is closed, and ticket sales for the Enrichment Factory end an hour before closing time.

auto24ring – the only racing circuit in Estonia

auto24ring is the only closed circuit in Estonia meant for racing cars and motorcycles. It is possible to race on four tracks with different lengths and shapes. The longest of them is 3.2 kilometres. Additionally, the complex includes a rally cross track and an off-road track. Today, auto24ring is the most modern racing complex in North-Europe and it has been issued a FIA Grade 4 licence. It is possible to drive on the circuit with your own car or a motorcycle or rent a car from us. Driving your own car on the circuit for an hour costs 30 euros. auto24ring offers a variety of exciting experiences for both individuals and groups.

Ferris wheel SkyWheel of Tallinn

The Ferris wheel, which is one of a kind in Europe, will take you 120 metres above sea level, offering a completely new view of Tallinn. If you wish, you can enjoy the enchanting view of the city, the sea, Lake Ülemiste, and the airport with your six friends and cold champagne. The 27 weatherproof passenger cars offer a safe and comfortable experience all year round. In winter, the cars have heating, and in summer, air conditioning. Each passenger car seats up to six people (you can stand or sit). NB! The cars are also accessible by wheelchair and stroller.

Electric skateboard safaris

Electric skateboard safari is a fun and athletic opportunity to spend some time with your friends, colleagues or family. Off-road electric skateboard is an electrically powered skateboard with hand-held accelerator and breaks. Take along a wonderful group of friends and enjoy adrenaline on wheels or simply beautiful Estonian landscapes in an exceptional way – by travelling on electric skateboards with us. We will roll through a pine grove, across a sandy beach, discover city streets and skate parks. Electric skateboarding does not require special skills; anyone with a desire and some gumption can do it! Contact us and let's share the fun on wheels!

Escaping from the former Pärnu prison

We re-opened the legendary Pärnu prison, which has a long history and was closed in 2007. Here, we have established the largest complex of escape rooms full of different puzzles in the Nordic Countries and Eastern Europe. The prison you have to escape from hides the secrets of the most psychopathic criminals. You have to escape the prison in three hours. If you get stuck, you can ask for clues for a worthy bribe from the prison guards. The game is suitable for smaller and larger groups. You can also come alone – buy a ticket and join another group of "prisoners". You can book a time on our website.

Narva River Promenade

The River Promenade is about 967 m long and situated on the river bank in the historical heart of Narva. In the east, it borders with the Narva River; in the west, with bastion walls and the Hermann castle; in the north, with Narva harbour; finally, in the south, with Joaorg recreational area. The promenade is in the immediate vicinity of the border between Estonia/European Union and the Russian Federation. The promenade is interesting due to its thematic areas: * The Swedish terrace is a recreational area for families; it has lion-shaped attractions for children. * The Dahlberg stage is an outdoor stage. * The Sun square has a summer café, a fountain and a small pool for children.

A canoe trip in the night glow of torches

An exciting and romantic canoe trip on the River Emajõgi at night is a completely unique experience: twilight, the glow of torches, the sound of nature at night, and light fog over the water. We will canoe under the guidance of an experienced guide and as a single group up the river to Kvissentali, then turn around, and head back to Tartu. To establish an appropriate mood and provide light, torches will be attached to the prows of the canoes. Participation in the trip is not physically demanding nor require experience in canoeing. It is well suited for a romantic experience with a companion. Book a private trip for your group or join a public group trip organised by us.

Kavastu raft

In 1899, W. Wulff, the landlord of Kavastu, ordered that there be a raft to make it easier to cross River Emajõgi. In 1983, the chain of the raft broke, the raft disappeared downstream, and the flywheel sunk to the bottom of the river. In 1999, the century-old tradition was brought back to life; the original flywheel was lifted from the river basin and put to work again. Everyone should come on a trip on the raft, because there is no other place in Estonia where you can cross the river like this. The raft’s mechanism is manual and more than a century old.
