In 2020, Latvian airline airBaltic has maintained full gender equality in the number of employees within the company. Currently, 47% of airBaltic employees are female. At the same time also over 40% of airBaltic’s top management representatives are women.

Striving for efficiency airBaltic for many years has maintained a full gender balance amongst company’s management and has adopted a strict zero discrimination policy.”

In 2019, airBaltic joined the International Air Transport Association (IATA) 25by2025 gender diversity pledge, committing to increase female participation at senior levels by 25% by the year 2025. In addition, in 2020 airBaltic also supported and signed Latvian Diversity Charter with commitment to strive to adhere to the basic principles of diversity management and respect for employees and society as a whole.
