The dates of the 36th RIGA FASHION WEEK is announced

From April 18th to 21st, Riga Fashion Week will take place in the capital of Latvia. The main event of the fashion industry in Latvia will combine several formats, including designer shows on the runway at Hanzas Perons and on the new platform — Zunda Towers, presentations, a seminar on sustainable fashion for industry professionals, and themed events. This season, the program's focus remains on sustainability.
The main photo of the upcoming RIGA FASHION WEEK is the work of stylist Sergey Hatanzeisky and photographer Asya Belova.

"The image of the upcoming season is a maximal reflection of the current industry trends — a return to the 2000s era, the period of the popularity of low-rise waist and elevated length. We have adopted trend elements of that time — bright colors as a symbol of rebirth, bold images, and bold manifestations of alter ego. On the model's chest is a voluminous amber butterfly. Firstly, this is a manifestation of freedom and lightness. Secondly, a return to the origins," says stylist Sergey Hatanzeisky.

"As part of the RFW spring session, we will continue the topic of sustainability. Since Fashion Week is a point of contact between industry professionals and consumers, we consider it important to convey the values and significance of the agenda. The clothing for the image is made by designers of a young Latvian brand, whose DNA already includes eco-values," added Elena Strahova, President of the Baltic Fashion Federation.

The image was worked on by: makeup artist Liana Antone, hair stylist Eduard Ghazaryan, model Monta (Moon Models), assistant Madara Vintere. The outfit is by the Latvian brand Tribal Hotel, designers Simona Veilande and Miko. The costume is complemented by accessories from the brand Rota-L.
RFW general partner: shopping mall Stockmann.
