The Latvian national airline airBaltic informs that submission of applications to the recently announced design contest of its 50th Airbus A220-300 aircraft has concluded. The contest generated global interest, receiving more than 840 creative designs from talented individuals around the world. As the airBaltic Design Committee has carefully shortlisted the top 21 designs, the public voting begins today.

To participate in the voting process, individuals must be members of the airBaltic Club. For those not yet members, registration is available at here: https://www.airbaltic.com/en/create-profile
Each airBaltic Club member is entitled to one vote, which can be cast until January 4, 23:59 Riga time here: https://livery.airbaltic.com/.
In addition to participating in the selection of the winning design, voters will automatically be entered into a raffle. The raffle prize includes two one-way tickets aboard airBaltic’s 50th Airbus A220-300 to any airBaltic destination. The raffle winner will be chosen on January 9, 2024, and notified via the email linked to their airBaltic Club account. It is important to note that only active airBaltic Club accounts on the day of the raffle will be eligible for participation.
The winner of the contest will be awarded a 3 000 EUR airBaltic gift certificate. Additionally, the winning design will be featured on the 50th aircraft, receiving due credit on the aircraft itself and in various media outlets.
