The Latvian national airline airBaltic is pleased to announce the
launch of its newly developed mobile application, tailored to enhance
the travel experience for members of its airBaltic Club loyalty program.
The new application is now available for download on both iOS and
Android platforms via the App Store and Google Play.
The advanced
mobile app is designed to make the travel experience for airBaltic
customers smoother and more convenient. Passengers’ upcoming flight
information is displayed in one place, allowing to easily view their
future travels with the airline. Boarding passes are now accessible
directly through the app, ensuring a seamless boarding process for
passengers. Additionally, the app sends timely notifications on
essential flight details, such as opening of check-ins and other
important updates, keeping passengers informed and prepared.

Martin
Gauss, President and CEO of airBaltic: “We are proud to introduce the
new airBaltic mobile app, available exclusively to our airBaltic Club
members. This application not only improves the travel experience but
also significantly upgrades the features of our loyalty program,
highlighting our dedication to our loyal customers. The new app replaces
the previous one and offers a range of new benefits, specifically
designed for our valued members.”
Furthermore, we will continue
improving the app to provide even more features to enhance the user
experience for our passengers in the future. We invite all our customers
to download the new airBaltic mobile app, join the airBaltic Club, and
enjoy the benefits and improved travel experience when flying with us,”
Gauss added.
The new mobile application includes an improved
airBaltic Club section. It provides information on point transactions,
highlights membership level benefits and progression, and includes a
section dedicated to Planies NFTs, with more updates on the way. Users
can easily track their point balance, differentiate between private and
family/friends accounts, and access account summaries detailing member
information and redemption options. Users can also manually add
reservations if their membership number was not included during the
booking process.
The new mobile application replaces the previous
airBaltic Club app, which served over 250 000 people annually, had more
than 150 000 active users each month, and facilitated over 5 000
bookings monthly. After the launch of the first phase, the airline plans
to continuously improve the new mobile app to further enhance the
customer experience.
