The second block of the Air Hotel has been officially opened in front of Kaunas Airport's passenger terminal, with an investment of more than EUR 3 million. In addition to nearly 100 comfortable, newly furnished rooms, the hotel offers conference and meeting rooms for rent, self check-in stations and all the necessary services for a comfortable stay.
"We are glad that as the passenger traffic at Kaunas Airport grows, the development of the services that are important to them is also taking place: last year new catering establishments started their operations in the terminal, and this year - the hotel has been renovated and expanded. All this contributes to an even better experience for travellers. Our data shows that more than half of Kaunas Airport passengers living in Lithuania come from other cities for their flight, so the possibility of accommodation services near the airport gate is very important," commented Gintarė Norvilaitė - Tautevičė, Head of the Commercial Department of Lithuanian Airports.

Air Hotel's biggest advantage is its location: just 50 metres from Kaunas Airport's passenger terminal.
Guests can choose from double, triple, family or disabled-friendly rooms with a kitchenette, and each room is open to guests with small children or pets.
"A hotel next to an airport gate is a strategically necessary facility that adds value to the passenger's entire logistics. Such accommodation not only saves precious time, which now plays a special role in everyone's life, but also prevents the risk of early flight delays and ensures a good night's rest on a late landing after a possibly long and tiring journey," said Evelina Karalevičienė, manager of the Air Hotel.
The opening of the second block is only the halfway point of the planned development, according to the hotel representatives. It is promised that the third phase of growth will be even more impressive, and the comfort solutions introduced will ensure even greater convenience for all travellers and the guests of companies operating in the airport.
