A passenger who carried dangerous materials with him, was suspended at Vilnius airport

On Tuesday, employees of Passenger Control Department of Vilnius International Airport (VIA) detected dangerous objects, shooting and explosive materials, in the baggage of one passenger.
The employees of Aviation Security Department, Passenger Control Service of VIA, detected the dangerous materials today about 13 PM, in the registered baggage of a Lithuanian citizen, coming to Oslo.Besides, a face-mask and a book “Sniper’s diary” were also found there.
The passenger was suspended, and officers of the police subdivision of the airport, the 2nd Police Headquarters of the Chief Police Headquarters of Vilnius County were called.The passenger was taken for an inquest, and a pretrial investigation is started.
The detected dangerous materials are given over to the police.
Work schedule of the airport was not interrupted due to this incident.
