In October 2010 AS Tallink Grupp transported 766819 passengers which is 8% increase compared to the previous year.
The largest growth was seen on Latvia-Sweden, Finland-Estonia and Sweden-Estonia routes. In October Tallink transported 47372 passengers (+17%) on Latvia-Sweden route, 356939 (+16%) on Finland-Estonia route and 64854 (+13 %) on Sweden-Estonia route. Despite of the fact that the cruise ferry SiljaFestival did not operate for ten days because of scheduled maintenance, there was still an increase of passenger volumes on Latvia-Sweden route. On the routes between Finland and Sweden, Tallink transported 293133 passengers (-2%) and on the Finland-Germany route 4521 passengers (-22%).
Additionally to passenger numbers, also the number of transported vehicles and cargo units increased in the last month. Tallink transported 84229 passenger vehicles (+17%) and 25829 (+11%) cargo units in October.
