In 11 months the airport welcomes 273 thousand passengers more than in the entire year 2009
In the eleven months of 2010 Riga International Airport has welcomed 4340 195 passengers or 15.8 percent (591 235 passengers) more than in the same period of 2009. From January to November (inclusive) 2009 3748 960 passengers were handled.
In November 2010 Riga International Airport provided services to 322 912 passengers or 5 percent (15 384 passengers) more than in November 2009 (307 528 passengers).
The trend of passenger traffic at Riga International Airport in eleven months, year by year:
In November 2010 the airport handled 5 068 aircrafts or 4.7 percent up from last year’s result for the same period when 4 841 aircrafts were handled. In the eleven months of this year 63 068 aircrafts were served or 14 percent more than in 11 months of 2009 (55 330 aircrafts).
In November 1 041 tonnes of various cargo were handled, which is a 4.8 percent increase on the result of November 2009 (994 t). In the eleven months of 2010 in total 11 032 tonnes of cargo were handled or 32 percent more year on year (8 361 t in 11 months of 2009).
