Latvian airline airBaltic carried overall 3,206,735 passengers in 2010, representing 16% increase comparing with 2009.

Latvian airline carried 208,282 passengers in December 2010 (from Riga, Vilnius and Tallinn), representing 4% decrease comparing with the same month in 2009, when airBaltic transported 216,051 passengers.
In December, airBaltic operated 4,003 flights, or 5% more than in December 2009 when airBaltic operated 3,825 flights. Between January and the end of December, the airline provided 56,098 flights in all, representing 22% increase comparing with 2009.
The airline’s load factor, which represents the number of passengers as a proportion of the number of available seats, in December 2010 was at a level of 63% - or 3% points less than in December 2009. During the twelve months of 2010 the airline’s load factor was at a level of 69% - or 1% point more than in the same period in 2009.
The 15-minute flight punctuality indicator for airBaltic was at a level of 68.3% in December 2010. This means that more than 68 of every 100 airBaltic flights in December departed at the planned time or with a delay of no more than 15 minutes. The accumulated 15-minute punctuality indicator for 2010 was 83.4%.
