Latvian national airline airBaltic is taking part in the Shadow Day 2011 and invites young talents to team up for a day with professionals such as pilots, flight attendants, engineers, and technicians.

This year “shadows”, or students selected from hundreds of applying candidates, will follow various airline professionals – pilots, flight attendants, engineers, aviation technicians, ticket sales agents, and the company’s president.
Students can apply for the Shadow Day at www.enudiena.lv. This year, airBaltic has announced a special “Golden Vacancy”. To apply for the “Golden Vacancy,” students are requested to prepare a video presentation about airBaltic, post it on YouTube, write to [email protected] by February 11, and make sure that as many people as possible watch the YouTube video. The applicant with the best results and application will choose any of airBaltic professionals to shadow, and also enjoy a flight for two to any airBaltic destination in Europe, Middle East, and the CIS.
Last year, airBaltic offered six vacancies and received 274 applications making airBaltic the highest-ranking company in the Shadow Day 2010.
