As of 2011-06-29 Latvian national airline airBaltic is lowering fares for tickets in Business class for passengers who book their flights early. This makes travel with a Business class ticket more affordable for passengers who value extra comfort and service.
For many years, airBaltic has offered its cheapest Economy class tickets to passengers who book their trip early; these Economy class ticket prices start from EUR 19. Now the same approach is applied to Business class, giving lower fares to passengers purchasing their flights at least 45 days before departure. From today, airBaltic’s new Business class fares will start from EUR 179 one way.
airBaltic’s recent Business class improvements include reserving an extra seat for comfort on its turbo-prop aircraft, providing Apple iPads for inflight-entertainment, offering the elegant tastes of Nespresso coffee on the jet aircraft, and a seasonal menu based on products from local farmers by Mārtiņš Rītiņš, the most renowned chef in the Baltics.
This month, airBaltic also made booking flights easier in all classes by introducing its redesigned website at www.airbaltic.com This new website www.airbaltic.com offers easier selection of the origin and destination airports, and provides a better overview of prices in Business, Economy Flex and Economy class. The departure and return fares are displayed separately. The lowest available prices are marked with green up to 3 days before and after your chosen date, so if you are flexible, you can easily switch to another day with a cheaper flight. The new www.airbaltic.com website also enables a much simpler process to modify the original search – to add passengers, to change the route or travel dates without having to start all over again.
airBaltic serves 80 destinations from its home base at Riga, Latvia. From every one of these, airBaltic offers convenient connections via North Hub Riga to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East.
