airberlin is entering the Baltic region by offering nonstop flights to Riga with the new codeshare partner airBaltic. airberlin adds its code on flights operated by airBaltic to the Latvian capital from several German cities: Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt and Berlin. In return, airBaltic flight guests are - for the first time - able to book a connecting airberlin flight to various German cities in combination with an airBaltic flight to Germany.
“The new codeshare partnership is another step for airberlin towards the growing markets of Eastern Europe and adds another new destination to our codeshare route network for our guests” says Paul Gregorowitsch, Chief Commercial Officer of airberlin. He adds: “We look forward to welcoming even more guests from this region on board our flights in Germany”.
