Music will fill the air at the Tallinn's Towers' Festival, August 29 to 31.
Taking to the stage are local singer Hanna-Liina
Võsa, saxophone player Lembit Saarsalu, accordion player Jaak Lutsoja
and organist Merle Kollom.
A variety of music from
classical, to musicals numbers, to jazz and church music will be
performed at the opening concert at the Swedish St. Michael's church.
It's a taste of how the most valued musical creations can be interpreted
in a surprising and colourful way. On the programme are classical
interpretations by; Bach, Caccini, Altmanis, Saint-Saéns and new
variations of beloved Estonian song creations by; Kreek, Arro, Härma,
Naissoo and Rannap.
For four different timbres of
sound, saxophone, accordion and organ will create exciting noises
enriched with the clarity of soprano singer Hanna-Liina Võsa, the
improvisation ability of Lembit Saarsalu and Jaak Lutsoja and virtuosity
of Merle Kollom.
This August 30 and 31, the silhouette of Tallinn's towers play host to a series of beautiful concerts.
