During the festive period from the 20th of December to the 4th of January the Lithuanian air company Air Lituanica, in cooperation with the charter airline Small Planet Airlines, will be operating direct flights to London and Dublin. The flights will be carried out to and from Vilnius and Palanga airports.

‘During the main season holidays there is normally a sharp increase in the number of Lithuanian people from England and Ireland wishing to celebrate with their families back home. Moreover, there are also locals who prefer to travel and spend their holidays with their families abroad to consider. That is why we have decided to introduce these new Christmas holiday destinations which will definitely enable our clients to reach each other during the holiday period much easier and with added convenience. Many people prefer to plan their Christmas travels way in advance, so we are launching the ticket sales to London and Ireland already today. The starting price for a one way ticket is EUR 86’ – commented the CCO of Air Lituanica Simonas Bartkus.
The total number of planned flights is 48: 14 flights will be carried out from Vilnius International and 10 – from Palanga airport. In England the company’s planes will land to and take off from London Gatwick, in Ireland – from Dublin International.
The passengers will be carried on board of the Small Planet Airlines’ 148-seater Boeing B737 and 180-seater Airbus A320. The total number of seats offered to passengers is 6700.
Tickets for the Air Lituanica direct and connecting flights can be already purchased on the company’s website www.airlituanica.com. Later they will be made available via other flight search engines and travel agents.
