On Friday 20 September the Václav Havel Airport Prague saw off the first aircraft
of the new Lithuanian airline Air Lituanica.
“We are very pleased that
the new airline Air Lituanica has placed Prague among its five first
destinations. The initiation of regularly scheduled flights by Air Lituanica
will provide passengers flying out of Prague with a direct air connection once
again to Vilnius. We believe existing demand for travel between the Czech
Republic and the Lithuanian capital will guarantee long term success for the
new route,” says Jozef Sinčák, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and
Senior Executive Director of the Business and Corporate Services Division at
Prague Airport.
