Sigulda is named as third Europe’s Best Big-Time Small Destination 2014 in a poll with over 46 000 voters given by Hotel.info and GlobalGrassfopper. The Danish town Ribe has been named ar No. 1 Europe’s best Big-Time Small Destination 2014 followed by Obidos in Portugal. Both are well known for their picturesque and ancient old towns.
Sigulda is the only town in Latvia nominated for Europe’s Best Big-Time Small Destination 2014 on commonly made online voting by British online travel blog GlobalGrasshopper and German online hotel booking system

The resaults of poll shows that Sigulda is one of the most eminent destinations in Europe.
